‼️Annual General Meeting 2024‼️

Wednesday 28th August 2024 @ 6:45pm @ Kinghorn Community Centre

We’d like to invite all of our members/parents to attend our Annual General Meeting. The AGM is your opportunity to hear the clubs plans for the forthcoming season. We are always looking for input from members on how we can make things better for all our players, coaches and committee.

The club relies upon its members offering their help wherever they can. Whether that be as committee members, team official support on game days or in fundraising throughout the season. If we don't have strong support from our members/parents then we will be unable to carry on providing the great Netball opportunities for all of our players.

We currently need more committee members having had committee members step down over the last year. If you can offer just 1-2hrs per month then we would really appreciate you joining the committee, and the AGM is the perfect place to find out more about what this opportunity would involve.

Please come along and find out more, have your say, and make your club bigger, stronger and better!

Thanks Fife Phantoms

Extraordinary General Meeting

07-03-2024 @ 7:30PM

***Update***

The changes required to the constitution were voted on and ratified at the meeting. The updated constitution is available on our Club Documents page.

As many of you may be aware the Fife Phantoms have been having a recruitment drive particularly aimed at younger age players. This is due to the fact that many of the current Primary squad will be moving up to U13s.

As part of this drive we have decided to introduce the Fife Phantoms Minis for age 6-9yrs.

However, our current constitution states that membership is open to age 8+ so we need to make a change to the constitution. This requires us to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting to ratify this change.

Our constitution also does not make clear the age distinction between Junior and Senior membership categories and we would therefore like to clarify this as well.

We are therefore proposing an online Zoom meeting to discuss these agenda items and only these items.

This meeting will take place on:

Thursday 7th March at 7:30pm.

The link to attend this meeting has been shared on our Fife Phantoms Announcement WhatsApp group or can be sent to you on request via our Contact Us page.

Umpiring Success

A huge congratulations  👏  to Ruby Mellon for passing her Level C umpiring assessment today.

She has been a godsend to Sandra this season sharing Fife Phantoms umpiring duties and allowing Sandra to focus on coaching the youth teams on game days.

We look forward to seeing you out on court umpiring Ruby 😊

Thanks,

Amber Impresses in Australia

Amber is a former Phantom who recently emigrated to Australia.  The picture shows Amber ready to try out for her local netball team Saint Michael's All Angels where she impressed against a strong opposition.

Amber's mum added:

"She did really well considering it was her first time out since we left and she played the full game against the top team and marking one of the best players in the league.  She got stuck in.   She came off with sore feet from her new shoes and tired.  She really enjoyed herself and loved getting back into it."

Ashley said "you've given her the best start and we cannot thank you enough"

Was really great to hear from Amber and her mum and that they have settled in well across in Australia and continuing with her netball.

Keep up the great work Amber.

Go Phantoms!
